Here’s what most people wonder about before getting started…

(Spoiler: being curious about therapy is actually the first step toward optimal living.)

If you’re wondering about therapy, that’s usually a sign you could benefit from it. You don’t need to be in a massive crisis to seek out some help in life. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just want to understand yourself better. Therapy helps you move from surviving to thriving – and that’s what optimal living is all about.

Anything that’s on your mind. Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family drama, work stress, grief, trauma, life transitions – or just feeling like something’s “off” but you can’t name it. There’s no topic too big or too small. We’re here to help you sort through whatever you’re carrying.

Yes! You can meet with us virtually from wherever you’re comfortable or visit our office in South Miami. Many people like the flexibility to switch between both depending on their schedule and what they’re dealing with. We are here to support you in whatever way therapy works best in your life.

It happens. The connection with your therapist is important, so if something doesn’t feel right, just let us know. We’ll help you find a better match without any awkwardness or judgment. Your comfort comes first.

Woman with question marks around her

We are in-network with most major insurance plans. Give us a call and we’ll check for you before you commit, so there are no surprises.

We have therapists who specialize in different age groups and life stages, including children, teens and adults.

Good question! If the issues feel like they’re mainly about you – your anxiety, depression, past trauma or personal growth – individual therapy is probably the way to go. If you’re struggling as a couple – communication, trust, intimacy – couples therapy makes more sense. Not sure? We can help you figure it out.

It depends on what you’re working on and your goals. Some people feel better in a few sessions, others benefit from longer-term work. We’ll check in regularly about your progress and adjust as needed. You’re in control of your timeline.

If possible we ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If something unexpected comes up, talk to your therapist and they can decide to waive the fee.

Yes, with very few exceptions. What you share stays between you and your therapist, protected by law. The only time we’d share what you tell us is if you’re in immediate danger or we’re required by law to report something. We’ll always explain our policies upfront first. We’ll never surprise you.

Your therapist will want to get to know you – what brought you in, what you’re hoping to get out of therapy and a bit about your background. It’s really just a conversation to see if you’re a good fit and to start figuring out the best plan to help. There’s no pressure to dive deep right away.
